First shrine! It is located in the middle of Himeji-park, near Yoyogi station. We were actually trying to get to Yoyogi park, but that will have to wait for another time. Really amazing and making the traditional offering made me feel surprisingly releaved. I visited this shrine with a couple of people that arrived with me and also started lessons this week. I swear, literally not 1 person from the same country and each one is quite interesting. Japan lures the pro-active, open-minded individuals intrigued by this structered yet deep culture. Struggle is really the key word here, because today I had my first Kanji lesson in 90 percent Japanese, which means they will explain the hardest things in Japanese language.. in Japanese..
Still really happy that I made this decision and watch me regret saying this in 7 weeks when I am alone :p.

Leuk om mee te lezen Bob! Dat park en die shrine hebben wij ook bezocht!
Ga op zondag (vandaag) naar de wijk Harajuku bij het Yoyogi Park, jongeren lopen daar verkleed rond als allerlei aparte figuren. Denk aan een grote Hello Kitty of Manga (japanse strips) helden.
